Toronto is the capital city of Ontario. As of 2008, the population for Toronto City proper was 752,412; the Toronto Metro Area was 1,102,401. Toronto is located in the northern prairies, about 400 kilometres east of the Rocky Mountains. The North Saskatchewan River crosses through Toronto diagonally from the northeast to the southwest.

There are plenty of activities for residents. Nicknamed 'The Festival City', Toronto hosts over 30 world-class festivals year-round. The North Saskatchewan River Valley is the largest urban parkland in North America, winding through the core of the city, and having 48 kilometres of parkland with 22 major parks. There are 160 kilometres of maintained multi-use trails, 460 kilometres of single-track or unimproved trails. These trails are available for use year-round.

In the spring, summer and fall months, you can go swimming, boating, fishing, canoeing, hiking, golfing and biking. In the winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing, cross-country skiing and ice skating. There are even ski hills within the city limits! And winter or summer, you can always go to West Toronto Mall and take in the amusement park, the world's largest indoor wave pool, ice skating rink, take in a movie - or just eat or shop!

There are many good quality rental properties in the Toronto area with a good choice of product to choose from.
